QUEEN OF HEARTS
Since arriving on the scene in late 2011 with her debut EP ‘The Arrival’, the enigmatic and elusive Queen of Hearts has quietly carved out a niche for herself with a handful of carefully executed independent releases and collaborations, cementing her status as one of the most exciting and original faces in electronic pop music.
Returning to the fray in 2018 for the first time since the release of her 2014 debut album ‘Cocoon’ (a top 5 charting iTunes album in various territories) and her co-write and appearance on Le Youth’s ‘REAL’ (16m Spotify streams and counting), the London based singer has seen her music adopted increasingly by US TV, with her work picked up by the likes of Grey’s Anatomy, Jane The Virgin, Bojack Horseman, Do No Harm and Famous In Love.
The pseudonym of 30 year-old Liz Morphew, her breathtaking fashion-forward visuals have made her a mainstay of both music and fashion press, with her music fronting campaigns for the likes of Morgan and Benetton, and accolades coming from the likes of Popjustice, Music Week and Pitchfork.
A prolific live performer, she’s played across the UK, Europe, US and Asia, with highlights including Coachella, CMJ, Wireless Festival, BT London Live, Spain’s Yahoo! On The Road, and Vietnam’s Feel The Love Festival.
A jazz trained singer raised on a diet of 80’s synth-pop, it wasn’t until she moved to London in her late teens and began writing with some of East London’s finest underground musicians that she discovered her calling.
